Jeffrey A. Trahan is Vice President, Pension Fund and Investments, a position he has held since February 2015. He is responsible for directing the investment affairs of Deere's core defined-benefit plans.
Trahan joined Deere & Company in 1992, after working for Inficon, Inc. and Ernst & Young. At Deere & Company, he has held leadership positions with increasing responsibilities in various financial functions at corporate and with the Construction & Forestry Division, including Director, Treasury Operations; Director, International Finance; Director Investments; and Manager, Global Alternative Investments. In September 2012, he was appointed Assistant Treasurer.
Trahan received a B.S. degree from Utica College of Syracuse University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and is on the Investment Committee, Community Foundation of the Great River Bend; the Financial Relations Committee, American Financial Services Association; and the Technology Advisory Committee, U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
